Pakyas ("we", "us", "our") acts as the Personal Information Controller for purposes of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

Job Monitoring Data

  • Ping timestamps and metadata

  • Pages visited and features used
  • API request logs

Important: Users should avoid submitting sensitive personal data, credentials, secrets, or confidential information through logs or payloads unless explicitly required. Pakyas is not intended to store sensitive personal information.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide and maintain the Pakyas service
  • Send you alerts when your jobs fail or miss their schedule
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Communicate with you about your account
  • Improve our service and develop new features
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on one or more of the following:

  • Consent: You have given us permission to process your data
  • Contract: Processing is necessary to provide the service you requested
  • Legal obligation: We are required to process data by law
  • Legitimate interests: Service security, fraud prevention, and product improvement

4. Data Retention

We retain your data based on your subscription tier:

  • Free: 7 days of ping history
  • Developer: 30 days of ping history
  • Pro: 6 months of ping history
  • Business: 12 months of ping history

If you downgrade your subscription, data exceeding your new plan's retention limits may be deleted automatically.

Account information is retained while your account is active. After account deletion, we may retain some data for up to 30 days for backup purposes, after which it is permanently deleted.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Lemon Squeezy: Payment processing and subscription management
  • Email providers: Transactional emails and alerts
  • Cloudflare: Content delivery and security

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
  • Encryption at rest for sensitive data
  • Secure password hashing (bcrypt/argon2)
  • Regular security audits
  • Access controls and audit logging

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. Please use strong, unique passwords for your account.

In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law.

You have the right to:

  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Delete your account and associated data

Pakyas is not intended for use by young children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent from a parent or legal guardian.
